I recently spoke at an event called “A4M” in Las Vegas.

My entire presentation was focused on 32 different ways to increase testosterone naturally, with no injections or hormone replacement protocols required. I'm not against bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), but I do think one should explore as many natural alternatives as possible first. Or, for even more bang for the buck, pair BHRT with the tactics you'll discover in this episode.

A4M, which stands for “The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine” is dedicated to the advancement of tools, technology, and transformations in healthcare that can detect, treat, and prevent diseases associated with aging. They promote the research of practices and protocols that have the potential to optimize the human aging process. The organization is also dedicated to educating healthcare professionals and practitioners, scientists, and members of the public on biomedical sciences, breakthrough technologies, and medical protocols through our advanced education entity: Metabolic Medical Institute (MMI). Their event in Vegas each year is, in my opinion, well worth checking out.

In this podcast, I will review the key biomarkers for achieving peak male health, along with the most potent and effective practices for optimizing biological variables for men's fertility and longevity. I will also unveil a host of little-known biohacks proven to enhance or restore peak testosterone and libido, along with how to practically implement a blend of ancestral wisdom and modern science to amplify sexual performance.

You'll discover a multimodal approach to optimizing male sexual performance, learn how to identify key biomarkers to assess male health and get the best ancient practices and modern scientific strategies that enhance or restore men's fertility and longevity.

Oh, and by the way, women need testosterone too, and all these tactics will work for the ladies as well.

    Hey Ben…

I listened to the podcast re your talk on the many ways to increase testosterone. You mentioned using a testosterone cream. Which ones are out there that would provide me bang for my buck? My testosterone is (according to my PCP) within normal range, but I’d like to see what happens by giving it a boost to maximize/enhance my workouts, etc. Thanks!

  2. KIMBERLY CASTLE DEARMAN says:

In one podcast you mentioned using a drum that was easy to learn how to play to help, what was the name of that drum?

  3. Daniel Dorigiola says:

    Hi Ben,

Is there a Maca powder that you would recommend? Also does Maca or Cocoa break a fast?? I appreciate your feedback. Thank you

  4. John says:

I noticed you mention the book “Body by Science” by Doug McGuff and John Little again in this article. Can you tell me what parts of the book are you advocating? According to the book, you follow a strict Time Under Tension Strength training approach.

In his Big 5 Workout, you perform: Row, Chest Press, Pulldown, Shoulder Press, and Leg Press until failure. Then he insists on a minimum of 7 days rest for the muscle before doing the next workout. I want to try this approach, but I don’t know if I can break my normal 5 day/week workout routine. Do you recommend any modifications to this protocol? It seems like it would be good to workout more than 20 min per week. Should I do some HIIT cardio on a few of the rest days?

    1. It's hard to give workout recommendations without knowing way more about you/your goals…. I'd be happy to help you out more with this via one-on-one coaching. https://BenGreenfieldFitness.com/coaching

  5. TimmyD says:

Ben has mentioned APOE many times, as in this podcast, with the reference in this transcript as something like 34/44. I’ve always assumed that meant a number of different genes that related to APOE having the homozygous or heterzygous mutations. I’ve only been able to find one rs in my 23andme raw data that seems meaningful to this, rs429358. How do you all figure out your APOE status? Are you getting this from one of the other companies that analyzes part of your raw data for you?

  6. Tom Weitz says:

    Ben,

You did it again: saying the body can only absorb 1 1/2 – 2 “MG” of creatine at a time. I’m sure you mean GRAMS. Two “milligrams” would likely offer no benefit, whatsoever.

    Tom

      1. Ben Lenora says:

Ben could you please share the source of the data regarding max creatine absorption at one time? Never run across that before nor can I find it now, unless it’s buried in some pub med study, thanks!

  7. Chris says:

You’ve said many times about the Joov + ball combination, you even say tripling testosterone – but have you actually measured it as an isolated event causing triple test results? I find that unlikely but it would be interesting to have some sort of approximation of what to expect, cheers

    1. Craig says:

Hello Chris . . . Tripling testosterone would be pretty impressive for sure. Last month, Mike Mutzel shared his blood work comparing the before and after Joovv use (Instagram: metabolic_mike). His testosterone almost doubled.

  8. T says:

    Hey Ben

I must admit that i believe my life has been ruined by sexual activities and consequently deficiencies and disorders have become a result in my life. Specifically what doctors call auto immune diseases.

Unfortunately they want to blame genetics (me essentially) and not educate me on life style choices or even investigate them.

You sir have inspired me along with a couple of other individuals to explore and experiment on myself to find the answers in optimising my life.

I have a large potion of my bowel removed resilting in me not digesting properly and shitting uncontrollably and an immovable staphs infection in my nose (due to pharmaceuticals) to deal with now, which as you can imagine inhibits me. Its these two last problems I’m looking to over come. I think this info in this article will help me a lot and so i want to say thanks to you (long winded i know) and see if you have ny other ideas for me to try.

    Kindest regards

    Tommie

  9. Andrew Pagakis says:

    Thanks Ben,

Time to try icing my nuts, where can I learn more about Pycnogenol?

Also do you seriously feel PEMF helps you? I’m feeling pretty skeptical, I do like the Joovv though and I felt the same way about that

    1. Don says:

Good question. I use a PEMF mat most days and don’t notice any difference. Would love to understand more. Thanks!

      1. Andrew Pagakis says:

That’s disappointing, what brand do you have don?

    2. You can find studies on Pycnogenol on pubmed.. Here's one: https://goo.gl/vV4Rj6 Yes, I get very noticeable benefits from PEMF in deep sleep, recovery, inflammation, etc
