In Podcast #305, I broached the controversial topic of vaccines by discussing alternative vaccination schedules. That set off a firestorm of discussion on the Facebook page and my Twitter feed, so in today's episode I've decided to revisit the topic, and you're about to take a deep dive into the world of vaccines, learn the shocking truth about vaccinations, and get everything you need to know to make an educated choice about vaccines.

My guest on today's show is Stephanie Seneff, who is a Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. For over three decades, her research interests have always been at the intersection of biology and computation: developing a computational model for the human auditory system, understanding human language so as to develop algorithms and systems for human computer interactions, as well as applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to gene predictions.

But in recent years, Dr. Seneff has focused her research interests back towards biology. She is concentrating mainly on the relationship between nutrition and health. Since 2011, she has written over a dozen papers (7 as first author) in various medical and health-related journals on topics such as modern day diseases (e.g., Alzheimer, autism, cardiovascular diseases), analysis and search of databases of drug side effects using NLP techniques, and the impact of nutritional deficiencies and environmental toxins on human health.

-How the history of vaccinations is much, much different than what we've been led to believe…

-Why kids actually need to get measles, mumps and rubella…

How vaccines can cause a sulfate deficiency and why that's a problem…

-The truth about the Andrew Wakefield, vaccines and autism scandal…

-Why mercury and aluminum aren't really a problem when it comes to MMR vaccines, and what really is the problem…

What you need to know about ingredients like thimerosal and formaldehyde…

-Alternatives to vaccines for yourself, for children and for babies…

Is there anything that can be done to mitigate the negative affects of the covid vaccine. My employer (State of California) is going to force us to get vaccinated. I’m afraid of the consequences. Is there anything that I should be taking if I’m forced to get the vaccine. Also, of you have any concerns regarding the covid vaccine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark

The Shocking Truth About Vaccinations: Everything You Need To Know About Vaccines And Your Health” by Dr. Michael Siegel (Duke University Press, 2017) is the most recent release in a series of publications written by Dr. Siegel, who has led the scientific study of the MMR vaccine. Previously, the book published in June 2009 was based on the work of five Danish independent investigators who found a link between autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and a single component of the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine.

  7. Carrie says:

Ms. Seneff is a scientist at MIT. Intelligent scientists, doctors, and educated parents all over the world question the safety and efficacy of vaccination, and the science is certainly not at all clear on the issue. Like it or not, we need to acknowledge the fact that the immune system is enormously complex and we currently do not come close to understanding it. In such a situation we should definitely err on the side of safety and use vaccines only with extreme caution. Above all, do no harm.

    1. Bill says:

Ben removed the links to credible sources regarding Dr. (Phd) Seneff’s “research” and why it’s not relevant. I’m sorry that you’re being misinformed about his guests and the safety and efficacy of vaccinations.

      1. Barbara N says:

No, no, no. Ben likely removed the links because it was in his best interests as a business person. There is no mis-information, just a massive cover up. Have you been to the CDC web site and dug out the ingredients in vaccines? How about dead fetal DNA from aborted babies? Did you know it quickly combines with the hosts, (child’s) DNA and can lead to cancer? Do you think our DNA is supposed to be exposed to dead baby DNA? Or animal DNA? Wake up. I do wonder what Ben is doing with his boys. He leads an ultra clean life but vaccines are loaded with heavy metals, (again, go the the CDC website). Better yet, have a chat with Nick Catone. If it weren’t for the fact that his wife was a nurse and demanded an autopsy of her dead son’s brain, instead of the cause of death being vaccines, it would have stayed as SIDS. Cover up, cover up, cover up, again and again.

  8. Dennis Mitton says:

    Love all the podcasts.

My initial question was why this one was titled “the shocking truth”? Ben asked several good questions during the episode and each one was brushed off without a rebuttal from Ben. I guess Ben has accepted Seneff’s opinion as the final word? This is not ‘presenting the other side’.

The entire interview was a classic Gish Gush perfected by creationists: throw out enough information – right or wrong makes no difference – that it takes far too long for any knowledgeable explanation or rebuttal.

  9. tomselliott says:

Ben's best episode. If you fear controversy, you'll never discover truth.

  10. llasidog says:

Childhood illnesses were one of God's creations. We do our best to provide a good environment so our children will be healthy. If they get sick, it is wonderful to have medical treatments, and if a child dies, he died a natural death. If, on the other hand, we vaccinate a healthy child knowing that there is a risk however small and that child dies, we are guilty of murder. God did not make a mistake when he created us or disease. We make a mistake when we try to play God.

    1. Barbara N says:

Agree. By the way, these vaccinated “diseases” are actually “illnesses”. The diseases are what occurs as a result of vaccination.

    2. Bjarne says:

I think everyone here should stop being so stupid and start gathering information from a source that’s actually accurate. This article is a fucking joke and vaccines are proven to save millions of lives. Ask you God why he let millions of people die everywhere, ask your God why billions of people are hungry and ask your God why the USA thinks it’s so great it can just bomb every place it doesn’t like. Maybe you all should worry more about equality between black and white, and gay, bi, hetero, transgender etc people, instead of talking bs about God and start to make a real difference

  12. run2potty says:

thanks for the podcast, its obvious that Big Pharma is pushing the Flu vaccine, i see what it has done to people in the hospital making them sicker when they come in for an illness and the nurses are sticking them with pnemonia and flu vaccine. i think bringing her on a podcast gives people some more information to go seek on there own if they want to. OR they can just NOT investigate for themselves and make uneducated choices. Being forced to take some of these vaccines to work in Healthcare has made me quite bitter, but a much more educated person. lots of hidden reports and even a secret vaccine court that pays off the people that have been hurt from these vaccines. hopefully the angry people will educate themselves, if you want to be Truly Healthy, then you need to cover all your bases.

  13. Matt m says:

This podcast was very disappointing. No wonder the American public is so mis informed about vaccines when you have unqualified people like Ms. Seneff giving opinions like they are fact. She paints vaccines as this terrible thing that western medicine is pushing on is but in reality vaccines are the most natural way to protect yourself from potentially deadly disease. She says that kids should just get the diseases for immunity but that’s how vaccines work. They expose your body to a weakened or dead pathogen and causes a reaction that provides future immunity. Her polio accusation was akin to discussing aliens at Area 51 and there were so many things wrong with her flu pronouncements that I wasn’t sure if I could find anything that was correct. She says she is a expert but she doesn’t even understand the basics about flu vaccination. I am very disappointed in Ben for having this guest on and will not be listening to this podcast anymore.

    1. kathleen kahl says:

I hope big pharma pays you some big royalty’s. Vaccines don’t work the way they are supposed to and that is why we have created the sickest generation in history. Look around. Cancer and autoimmune are affecting one in two now. That is not an affective program.

      1. Josh says:

        One in two? You idiot.

  14. tmack2 says:

I was a little disappointed. I didn't feel that this added intelligently to the debate. She dodged answering the questions around death rates for serious childhood diseases and instead leapt to the inefficacy of the flu vaccine, which isn't the one that people are (falsely, I reckon) blaming for autism. It is generally accepted that flu exists in many and changing strains, and that flu vaccine is a little like the lottery. I have both got the vaccine and not got (and had a horrid flu, so…..). In addition to the lack of cogent argument, which made me question her conclusions, I further dissuaded as to the validity of her research and conclusions when she made the statement that beef is fed antibiotics. It isn't. I'm very familiar with the industry and while there is no way I would promote feedlot beef – either eating it or raising animals that way – they are NOT fed antibiotics. If she can't be correct about something that simple, I am doubtful about the rest. The title needed to be different and there really ought to be a response, if the aim is to truly tackle the issue.

  15. BigMac says:

Wow what a host of comments! Folks just think and take care of yourselves, to imply that government or group think should mandate another persons actions is troubling. Just because a whitecoat thinks immunizing is such a good idea, remember they kill 50,000 every year through "mistakes". While individual Dr.'s account for a substantially less amount of premature deaths, the system which they endorse does. Thalidomide was used in Europe for 2 years and in Canada, But just one FDA employee stopped it from USA. I don't think one responsible person could stop a future tragedy in our current political environment.

  16. tdolanguage says:

Vaccines are complicated. So, surely we all must see that it's not as simple as black and white. There's no OTHER SIDE because this isn't that simple. With complicated issues there are many sides (more like a dodecahedron than a coin). Having said that, The Health Bridge is doing some good work on vaccines as well, for those looking for more information, for one of the many other sides, other points of consideration.

Overall, I'm thankful this podcast is out there. I had to 'redo' my MMR shot four or five years ago, because a university wouldn't hire me without it, and my parents couldn't find the 30 year old records. Now I feel better than ever about all the sulfate and sulfurous vegetables I consume, and about the time I spend working on my gut health.

If we're closed minded and not listening to people we don't agree with (even to find just some of the truth in their statements), I think we're doing ourselves a large disservice as individuals.

Keep up the good work, Ben. Any time someone is nudged (even just a little) out of their comfort zone, I think it's a good thing!

  17. bellaburrows says:

There was a discussion of vaccinations on Science Friday just last week and yet another podcast on flu vaccinations on Freakonomics, both offer more rational and intelligent guests and are worth a listen.

Standing by your interview with this whack job is doubling down on losing credibility. I'm unsubscribing from this podcast. If you buy her research (against hundreds, bordering on thousands of other scientific studies debunking the dangers of vaccinations), I can't really see trusting your judgment/readings/interpretations of other scientists and findings you come across in your own research.

  18. SaturatedMatt says:

Thanks for this podcast Ben. Dr. Seneff came off a little intense for me but I still enjoyed it. The real issue with vaccines is there are no mechanism studies from either side. Until intensive blood work, gut microbe, and DNA results are taken pre and post vaccine from a large population. People need to pipe down and make their own decisions with the shitty information available. Correlation doesn't equal causation both sides need to understand this.

  19. jwilcox90 says:

Good podcast I enjoy the non run of the mill information you provide Ben and how you challenge the status quo. I knew that you'd catch some heat for this because of it being a controversial subject, but we need to talk about controversial things and stir the pot. This is how we advance and if anything this should make vaccine companies and government to want to improve the safety and effectiveness of vaccines.

    Thanks

  20. goodguy1103 says:

Thanks Ben for another great podcast. Far too many people have a faith in vaccinations. That faith is based soley on revealed knowledge. Its unfortunate. Many others just want someone to tell them what the truth is – so long as that truth resonates. Its Orwellian Groupthink cause they desperately want that truth to be the same as what most of their community think is true.

  21. Mr Smith says:

With a title like ‘The Shocking Truth About Vaccinations: Everything You Need To Know About Vaccines And Your Health.’ I really would have liked to hear the other side of the argument. Also would be interesting to know if she has kids, especially when she says that kids should purposefully get infected with measles.

    1. kathleen kahl says:

She does have kids and grandkids.

  22. goodguy1103 says:

I have 4 daughters aged 44, 38, 24 and 19. The younger 2 were not vaccinated. This was not a religious decision. They are doing great.
You need to fully understand you are being overwhelmed by Orwellian groupthink. Per wikiquote, "Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people, in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an incorrect or deviant decision-making outcome. Group members try to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation of alternative ideas or viewpoints, and by isolating themselves from outside influences. A sense of loyalty to the group requires individuals to avoid raising controversial issues or alternative solutions, and there is loss of individual creativity, uniqueness and independent thinking. The dysfunctional group dynamics of the "ingroup" produces an "illusion of invulnerability" (an inflated sense of certainty that the right decision has been made). Thus the "ingroup" significantly overrates their own abilities in decision-making, and significantly underrates the abilities of their opponents (the "outgroup").

  23. CAH85 says:

I agree with the commenters above that this episode was misrepresented, it was really only the viewpoint of one anti-vax person with no first hand research or medical experience. I question whether any middle ground actually exists. Are there any individuals who are not so anti-vax or pro-vax as to actually look at the science of this and explain pros and cons, what is known and unknown? I've never heard an interview with one. I believe Ben referenced Dr. Sears and his alternative schedule. I would definitely recommend giving this a good look (I plan to although my daugher has already had most of her vaccinations). My daughter had an extreme reaction to a shot at birth (that I see in hindsight) and at 2 months, both times EXTREME lethargy, nothing in subsequent rounds. For her, I believe that was too much and will encourage her with any children she has to be more cautious in light of her history and extend the process. Both sides need to be viewed with skepticism. If Ben could find such a person to interview, that would be great.

  24. offofthecouch says:

Just want to say thanks. I think it is grey, not black or white, and am hugely in favor of alternate schedules. My son had a reaction to a DPT shot at 18 months, and I have known parents of kids that had seizures in the days following the shot and lost language, and were told it was just a coincidence. Not all injuries have been counted. My son is fine now but was coded in school and had a fine motor deficit for quite a few years that required occupational therapy, and he had had very good motor skills before the shot. If kids are on repeated courses of antibiotics, parents need to weed out food allergies, treat the microbiome with probiotics, and wait til their kids are healthy, rather than hitting them with MMR and DPT as toddlers.

    1. extrafrosting1 says:

Thanks for this comment; it's very helpful to me as someone who will be soon asked to make these decisions for my child. I would actually like to talk to someone in person about these kinds of things, but it's difficult to know whose advice I can trust. offthecouch…if there's a chance I could contact you via e-mail, could you let me know? my address is combandglory at gmail dot com.

A Phd In Immunology, educated at Harvard and Stanford, said,
"You are asking me what led me to see the problem with how the science of Immunology construed the “immune” system after having earned a PhD in Immunology. You should rather ask me what miracle led me to see this problem despite earning a PhD in Immunology. I can tell you that once you commit yourself to the study of Immunology, you are so heavily invested in the “truth” of the field that the chances of seeing the problem with the most basic assumption becomes nil. The power of “believing” in definitions set up by the field is very strong.

  26. johngalt70 says:

Wow. Great podcast Ben. I can see by the comments that you were right in warning your listeners that its controversial. People are very very touchy. I have a young son that is not vaccinated. But I did a ton of research on my own about four years ago which involved primarily looking at the CDC website and other pro-vaccine reports and really analyzing what they were saying. After months of researching, I came to the conclusion that they were not worth the risk. There just wasn’t enough real proof. I think if these commenters really looked last Dr. Seneff’s interview and did their own independent research instead of just relying on the news, they might really be surprised at what they find.

By making waves, you make people think about their position. So I applaud your strength.

I sent this interview to three friends. So you now have three new followers.

    Keep it up!

  27. goodguy1103 says:

To the negative commenters here: Please read the history of the USDA food pyramid.
Thanks to politics and crony corporatism science has lost its cred. You need to decide for yourself.

  28. goodguy1103 says:

Its amazing the number of people who worship gov't science in one area while knowing gov't science is garbage in other areas. For example: You know the gov't science behind keynesian economics is garbage. You know the gov't science behind climate warming is garbage. You know the gov't science behind the sustainability of public employee pensions is garbage. You know the gov't science behind windmill farms is garbage. You know the gov't science behind bio fuels is garbage. You know you could add to this list. Thanks Ben. What you do is indispensable for the truth seeking individual.

    1. extrafrosting1 says:

      Thanks for this link.

  29. keplernicus says:

First of all Ben, it is nice to see that you are not blocking negative comments to this interview and allowing transparency of opinions. That being said, like many others I am disappointed in the content of this podcast, namely the title and the lack of any deference to the mountains of evidence contrary to Dr. Seneff's ideas. You basically just allowed Dr. Seneff to use your podcast as a free vehicle to tout her ridiculous ideas to a large listener base. She unfortunately uses such strong language and qualifies her statements with such a high level of certainty, which is unbecoming of a scientist interested in getting to the truth of the matter by assessing whatever data are available and carefully constructing a position on a topic. I understand and appreciate that you like controversy, but this can't be compared to the issue on saturated fats and cholesterol, which is a hypothesis that, although still largely mainstream, is being challenged and debated at a high level in the scientific and medical communities with lots of ongoing research demonstrating that perhaps the hypothesis is flawed and needs to be reconsidered. Dr. Seneff's correlational data are, compared to this, very unimpressive and do not even come close to approximating anything like "the truth." I have been becoming increasingly hesitant to recommend your podcast to my large clientele base (I am a health coach and personal trainer), and this episode may have pushed me over the edge towards the negative. At least consider getting an expert with a position contrary to Dr. Seneff's, or better yet, a debate with both parties present on your show so listeners can be better exposed to the complex reality of the topic, rather than being swayed by Dr. Seneff's sophisticated nonsense for lack of a detailed understanding.

The MMR -glutamate connection was interesting. It reminded me of this TED talk awhile back where a Dr. had success treating her autistic child by avoiding all MSG in the diet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL4SD5f2toQ

  31. extrafrosting1 says:

I'm a soon-to-be mom of an infant (adopting). I appreciated this podcast, as it has made me decide to look deeper into the issue. Some of it sounded like truth and some of it sounded like quackery…I would certainly be interested in hearing the other side to this debate too.

    1. Kettlegenic says:

Ben, I hope you read posts like this and think long and hard about how you're influencing people with your podcast. Probability of dying from an adverse reaction to the MMR vaccine: approximately 1/million. Probability of dying from a measles infection: approximately 1/5,000.

      1. extrafrosting1 says:

Frankly, it's not death that I'm most concerned about, although that of course would be terrible! It's autism, which all-knowing Google tells me is 1 in 68 now in Canada.

        1. offofthecouch says:

I just watched the movie "bought" I think it's www.boughtmovie.net gives similar info as she bought out in the podcast.

  32. bdam says:

How can you call it “the truth”. How Do you know this woman knows the real story here. I am okay with controversal guests but Ben you perfectly know you shouldn’t call the article the shocking truth.

    1. digik9 says:

That's really what bothered me as well.

  33. Maria O'connell says:

    Hi Ben,

THANK YOU for keeping the conversation going! I thoroughly enjoyed this informative podcast. Is there anyway you could do a podcast with PhD immunologist from Harvard/Stanford Dr. Teyana Obukhanych? She would really shine the light on immunology and how it relates to childhood health.

In the process by which opinion is formed, it is very probable that, by the time any view becomes a majority view, it is no longer the best view: somebody will already have advanced beyond the point which the majority have reached. It is because we do not yet which of the many competing new opinions will prove itself the best that we wait until it has gained sufficient support." – FA Hayek.

  36. Scottyc33 says:

Ben – this is a third rail topic so I give you a lot of credit for tackling it.
Quackwatch, sciencebasedmedicine, org and skepticalraptor are horrible disinformation sites. They are so completely biased, it's ridiculous.

  37. hfraizer says:

Hi Ben, I love your content and podcast and I was a little disappointed with this episode. I really trust your judgement and when I heard the opening credits, I thought "Okay, we're going to get some good scientifically based info here." My first thought was…she's a computer scientist? Then as she went on at an almost manic pace, it quickly became clear that she was conflating all sorts of environmental factors and autism, etc. Then we she said kids should get measles, etc. Please. Maybe she doesn't have kids. I would have liked to see you take her to task a little more on some of her questionable conclusions. I guess at a minimum I'd love to hear your personal take on vaccines — I really respect your opinion. Personally I consider myself a middle of the road–cautious vaccinator. We follow Dr. Sear's alternate schedule in his great Vaccine Book. Again, this comment is with all due respect and I fully intend to continue enjoying your amazing content–both online and via podcast. Keep up the great work!!!

  38. digik9 says:

C'mon Ben you're better than this. I am seriously thinking about unsubscribing and dumping your podcast. This Dr. Seneff sounds like your basic nut job and you gave her a forum. When more kids start dying of measles and other preventable diseases what responsibility is she willing to assume? Or is it just a case of thinning the herd?

  39. digik9 says:

C'mon Ben you're better than this. I am seriously thinking about unsubscribing and dumping your podcast. This Dr. Seneff sounds like your basic nut job and you gave her a forum. When more kids start dying of measles and other preventable diseases, what responsibility is she going to take. I stopped listening to the podcast after a few minutes and will delete it. Do better Ben, it's what we expect from you.

    1. Sounds good. I'll stick to conservative, run-of-the mill advice from here on out, because everybody knows that is how progress is made. I think I'll do my next podcast on how saturated fat causes heart disease, the benefits of statins, and perhaps how ADD in kids has nothing to do with diet.

      1. digik9 says:

Ok, so get somebody on to give the other side, then your listeners can make up their own minds. It's the responsible thing to do.

        1. stinkyboomboom says:

As Ben's mentor Tai Lopez has said, everyone's story sound great… until you hear the other side. I think this podcast is the other side of a controversial subject, but I, too, would like to hear someone's direct response to this conversation. Then, if Seneff is credible and is up to it, her rebuttal would be great to hear. Maybe Ben could coordinate an actual conversation or interview with Seneff and someone credible who is pro-vaccine and do it all in one podcast.

          1. digik9 says:

He should never have promoted this as The Shocking Truth About Vaccinations: Everything You Need To Know About Vaccines And Your Health." That was the absolute height of irresponsibility. If he had promoted it as an interview with an ant-vaccination advocate, then fine. If he doesn't present the other side, then I'm done with him. And change the title of this podcast to represent what it really is.

          2. Brent P says:

ha ha, like any of the clowns on either side of any controversial subject would ever actually listen to a specific thing the other side said and respond clearly. Gotta just ignore yahoos like those on this show and look at factual info.

      2. ikstgp says:

One of the main reasons we all respect you is almost all of what you cover in your podcasts is based on scientific studies. The point many posters are making is that science was ignored here and we were looking for your adding that to the conversation.

Her implying the flu shot isn’t needed because “she” never had one AND “she” never got the flu is like me saying seatbelts don’t work because I never wear one AND I have never died in accident!

She also ignores one of the great benefits of vaccinations. That benefit occurs when “many people” get vaccinated they slow the spread of disease because the disease can’t find hosts. Therefore, she may even have benefited from Vaccinations because “others” that were vaccinated stopped the flu from reaching her.

I agree with the others that you should present the other side of the story and at least look at the vast majority of real studies that support vaccines. To do otherwise is dangerous and I too will look elsewhere in the future for advice. Remember that the flu killed 50 – 100 million people in 1918 that is more than were killed in all of World War II.

        1. Lucy Pasteur says:

ikstgp – it’s a year later that I see your post so I don’t know if you’re sticking to your “belief” in vaccines. It is blind faith as the fellow masses have, trusting the govt to really care for each individual citizen. German citizens in the 1930s trusted their “fuhrer” to make them a better and more prosperous country by getting rid of the Jews – a lot of good that did anyone. If the citizens don’t take responsibility to find out the truth – they are contributing to the evil that the govt entities are promoting for sinister ends as did the evil dictators in history. Just check out CDC statistics on the number of autistic individuals – yes vaccines precisely factor into that horror and the FDA’s admission that prescription drugs, properly prescribed, are one of the BIGGEST killers today.

      3. ViridianDuck says:

Maybe you could a podcast on chemtrails or the health risks posed by the lizard people running the world.
You didn't title the podcast "One Nut Job's Theory" you called it "EVERYTHING You Need To Know About Vaccines". Everything? Do you really think this is everything you need to know?
Maybe you could find someone qualified to talk about how wonderful vaccinations are? There must be a doctor or two in the world that support them, right?

        1. Lucy Pasteur says:

yup – there is – Dr. Paul Offit. He promotes health exclusively through vaccines and other patented drugs. They work excellently to promote vibrant health…..of his bank account that is. He is a professional doctor as was Dr. Mengele, no different. Vaccines destroy health, maim and kill. You can disagree – but you’ve probably never seen huge communities of healthy children raised without vaccines or toxic foodstuffs. If you grow up in a fog – you might deny that there are places that are sunny and beautiful…if you’ve only seen vaccinated people with all their dysfunction and illness, then you unfortunately are unaware of how amazing it is to be truly healthy and sharp in the brain. There’s really no excuse for such ignorance – Sherry Tenpenny has collected 1000s of documents from the CDC that attest to vaccines doing much more harm than good. WAKE UP before it’s too late!

digik, I am with you 100%. I will no longer listen to this podcast as it has just lost all credibility. The 'debate' (not that there ever was one) about vaccines is long over. Despite what the self-proclaimed experts like Jenny McCarthy and Dr (of computer science) Stephanie Quackeff purport, the notion that there exists any link between vaccines and autism has been completely disproved. Anyone with an audience as large as Ben's who uses their voice to give credibility to completely dangerous and nonsensical ideas is simply being irresponsible. There's your shocking truth.

      1. Scottyc33 says:

The information provided contradicts your existing beliefs so you resort to name calling. The woman interviewed has done extensive independent research and data analysis of the VAERS database. What have you done that qualifies you to have an opinion other than parrot what others have told you?

    3. Terry says:

For heavens sake, kids were never dying from measles and other childhood diseases. That’s the brainwashing the drug companies want you to believe. Only knows dos with compromised immune systems were ever in danger from the measles. In fact 108 have died from the vaccine. Herd immunity is a buzz word and is not accomplished by vaccines, thus the rise in kids getting measles, mumps, and pertussis who have been vaccinated. In fact, nearly everyone who has gotten pertussis has been fully vaccinated. The immune system of the masses have been compromised by vaccinations containing formaldehyde, aluminum, Mercury, and glyphosate to name a few. This woman has done more scientific research than any doctor who received his only info on vaccines from the drug companies who don’t test the vaccines. They make enough mistakes on the drugs they do put through what they call rigorous testing, such as Vioxx, thalidomide, statins etc., and they don’t come near that in testing for vaccines. Doctors get a minimum of $40,000 from the drug companies if they can get 63% of their patients on a complete vaccine schedule. Nothing if they don’t reach that, more if they can exceed that. This woman gains nothing from reporting her findings. Conflict of interest from drug companies and doctors much.

Should read those with, not knows dos. Can’t see everything while writing on iPad.

    1. Lucy Pasteur says:

Digik9 – you should unsubscribe and stay ignorant. Believe what they tell you like the masses who have their heads in the sand and their children on heavy drugs to counteract the symptoms of the vaccine damage that they are sustaining. Arrogant know-it-alls decided that benign childhood illnesses designed by the Divine to prime our immune systems are the killers. They are and were in fact “diagnosed” arbitrarily – because “they” say so. The TRUTH – those “diseases” are ALWAYS secondary to weakened immunity due to malnutrition and/or toxic load. The “discoverer” of malevolent microbes -“germs” – Louise Pasteur admitted on his deathbed that health is determined by the “terrain” and not by the “germ”. There are other parallels in life where we must decide whether our efforts should be targeted to enhance and build a strong immune system or instead – ignore the immune system and shoot the germs with vaccines and/or drugs: for example – a powerful army that is always in training doesn’t worry about the enemy as much as a weak army that thinks it could just rely on some weapons to shoot down the enemy. Another example – in raising children or any education venue – build a child/student’s self confidence, self worth, self esteem and that child is likely to behave as an upstanding and productive distinguished member of the human race whereas if fear of getting out of line is emphasized by being punitive and degrading – leads to a loser mentality that affects society negatively.

It’s time to wake up – you’re connected to the internet – check out the sites where vaccines ingredients and mfg process is discussed along with the damages it has causes to millions of people – from “subtle” to major. also listen to Paul Offit -this pediatrician’s view of “health” is only about patented money-making vaccines and drugs…a “little” backward in the face of the knowledge – OLD knowledge that wholesome food and a low toxin environment is the best defense against debilitating illness and dysfunction.

Millions of people are raising vibrantly healthy and truly sharp children as they have rejected vaccines and all patented medicine. These are “normal” -unpoisoned children whose parents EDUCATED themselves with

Thank G-d-uncensored information on the internet. Many true doctors have the courage to care for their patients with integrity and not with “standard of care” that is dictated to them by pharma interests and the lobbied to govt entities. More power to brave parents who protect their children from this evil.

  40. Steve says:

Dr Gary null had a show on vaccines yesterday. he’s got a shocking documentary. Exposing the Truth, He’s a research scientist, PhD and definitely has some credibility about the subject. Just google Gary null vaccines this topic is controversial indeed.

    1. Johnny says:

Thanks for the links. This was my impression too. Correlation doesn’t equal causation and just because there might be a plausible mechanism, that doesn’t mean thats how its going to play out in real life. These are the kinds of things that wrongfully implicated red meat and cholesterol as the cause of heart disease. As for strengthening the immune system, these are Neolithic crowd infections…not sure they really fit the old friends/hygiene hypothesis. Maybe we need them, maybe not?

      1. Johnny says:

Oops, sorry that was meant as a reply to scott not steve

This is really the basic level research you would expect from a serious podcast host — at least check out the claims of your guest against actual science. This issue is so sensitive and it is precisely because people promote the idea that there are two sides. There are facts (science) and those that are ideologically blinded, like Seneff.

      1. Terry says:

The people ideologically blue Neded are those who accept the word of the doctors who get their info from drug companies who refuse to do ethical vaccine studies.

        1. Terry says:

          Should say ideologically blinded

  41. Jradway says:

Ben- thank you for tackling a dicey, but very important subject! It's critical to get the truth out and to share real science from credible guests. There are too many downstream implications to glutamate and vaccines to ignore. Thanks again !

  42. Lu says:

Thank you Ben for an EXCELLENT interview!
