    Hi Ben,

I NEVER really follow bloggers, and I have NEVER listened to a podcast in my life, until you. And I’m completely hooked. I am so impressed by all the new fitness and nutrition information I’m learning from you (and I’ve learned A LOT in my life), and I so admire how you have tested so many products yourself. Your podcasts are such a pleasure to listen to, and I adore your sense of humour. I can’t believe it’s taken THIS long for Google to direct me to your page, given all the times I’m researching health stuff.

So I stumbled on your site because I was looking for reviews on Pruvit’s Keto-Os. I’m a pretty athletic person, and I eat a very clean diet. But my body has never really physically reflected my ability; I’m trying REALLY hard to biohack my body fat below 20% (I’m around 27%, never gotten below 26%). My daily carbs sits around 100g (including vegetables), and I’m very active. I find I can’t really do more than 2-3 days with my carbs below 70g. So the Keto Os seem like a good compromise; but it’s quite pricey, so if you have any more thoughts on it that you can share (other than the article you wrote on it, which I read), I’d really appreciate it!

Also, as you see, I count my vegetables in my carb intake. Should I? They add up pretty fast! (I mean, a cup of broccoli is 17 carbs). But I need that fibre. The last time I made my diet REALLY low carb, higher in fats and proteins, I was miserably constipated all the time :(

Thank you! It’s only been a week since I’ve started listening to/reading your stuff, and I so eagerly look forward to more!

    1. Yes it is pricey, and if you want to start 'CHEAP' just start eating copious amounts of coconut oil. And do NOT worry about counting the carbs in your veggies. Not an issue. ;)

I don’t mind paying for a great product. I used to work in holistic nutrition, and there are too many dud supplements out there that just suck consumers dry. So I end up researching a ton and asking for a lot of opinions. I read up on your review of exogenous ketone supplements, and also the article on the dangers of using too much coconut oil for ketosis, and concluded I’ll likely give Keto Os a try. Thanks for the info on the veggies too, that puts my mind at ease.

PS. And yes, I realize I probably put in a lot of full caps words in my first comment (oops). I find it’s my primitive way of trying to be expressive :)
