Prepare to take the deepest dive you ever have into the art of preparing the perfect cup of coffee…

…including optimizing criteria such as the caffeine content, the amount of healthy chlorogenic acid in the brew, the antioxidants, the effect on blood lipids and much more.

My guest on today's podcast, Adel Moussa, recently investigated the impressive host of coffee data he came up with after dozens of hours he spent on Google Scholar and PubMed. And he indeed found some very, very interesting coffee tips you're about to discover in today's podcast.

As a trained physicist Adel, found his passion for nutrition and exercise science early during his studies when the lack of reliable, evidence-based information about supplements and training on the internet motivated him to start blogging about these topics. Over the years, his blog, www.suppversity.com, has accumulated more than 2300 fully-referenced articles and became one of the go-to sources for well-referenced, unbiased information about the latest and most relevant studies in the realms of diet, health, and fitness.

In spite of that, the work Adel puts into the maintenance of the website, and the Facebook news-channel (facebook.com/SuppVersity), as well as his work as a reviewer for the “Examine Research Digest“, are still a hobby for him – one that does, however, leave enough time to hit the gym several times a week.

    Enjoy reading your stuff.

The Gainswave link isn’t working – it says the account has been suspended.

I realize you have that link on a lot of pages – but in case there is someone that can deal with it….nothing says, “out of date” like dead links.

Another question – can I have Kion Coffee shipped to Israel?

When I go to the order page and put Israel in the shipping options disappear.

    1. The GAINSWave link is working on my end. Can you try again, and if it's still not working I'll reach out to them? As far as shipping to Israel, enter your entire address and the shipping options should appear. If you're having trouble will, reach out to Kion Support: [email protected]

Hi Ben, what is your preference for filters do you use a stainless mesh, or natural paper filters.. are the paper filters going to absorb all the oils and reduce the health benefits?

Hello Ben!! Hey any ideas or research about water temperature and/or the time you let the coffee with the water before filtering (Aeropress- French press) and how will this affect with the caffeine and antioxidantes ? also curious if there is anything abut cold brewed coffee, thanks!

  26. Nathanael Smith says:

Hey Ben, I am excited to try out this coffee, I am always looking for quality brews. Out of curiosity what type of bean is it exactly an arabica or robusta?

      1. Troy Delaney says:

Why Arabica when Robusta are higher in Chlorogenic acid?

  27. Micah Marino says:

Ben – awesome stuff excited to try your coffee! You talked about how coffee in the morning would not stop your intermittent fasting. What about putting raw honey and cream in your coffee? Should i just suck it up and get use to unsweetened black coffee or is there something i can add to it that wont mess up my intermittent fasting? I can lose the honey easy but i am a fan of cream in my coffee.

    1. I would suck it up and give black a try ;)

    2. Oscar says:

Stevia and a drop of heavy cream works well

  28. Steve says:
