Checked the weight with a scale.
In the reviews I saw someone suggest weighing it which I decided to do when my new second bottle arrived. Made sure to weigh my empty bottle to subtract it from the total and left the small measuring spoon out entirely. 1.5oz minus 0.7oz equals 0.8oz, so actually there's a tiny 0.1oz more than they listed it as.I liked this fine, it worked well in moat things I used it for tho some of my family complained of bitterness I didn't really notice.I've since switched to Natrisweet monkfruit powder as it dissolves much better in liquids and doesn't have that bitter aftertaste at all(according to my family) since it's not extracted with alcohol like most monk fruit powder & stevia are. It does need more powder to get the same sweetness level but how well it dissolves in liquid is the big selling point for me personally.

5.0 out of 5 stars Organic, concentrated, natural... sweet
Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2020
Monkfruit is my favorite non-caloric natural sweetener, and the pure extract from NOW Foods is a good option for me, along liquid monkfruit.
I purchase many products from the brand, and as always the quality is as expected. I really like that the monkfruit is organic, while being pure extract (I don't like blends with erythritol, allulose or other sweeteners). The cost per use is high, but worthwhile for me as I didn't find anything better.

The powder is very potent, a little goes a long way. Depending on the beverage or food it's added the n, 1-2 of the tiny serving scoop are more than enough. It adds a subtle sweetness, quite different from the "delicious" sweetness of sugar, but enjoyable nonetheless. I never notice any aftertaste, but leaves an odd mouth feel (somewhat metallic) if I overdose.

The bottle is quite small, comes sealed and 3/4 filled with powder. The cap is split in half, one large opening, one a sifter, but I don't recommend sprinkling this product as it's easy to use more powder than needed.

I like to add the monkfruit extract to my oatmeal, yogurt, mix it in pancake or other batters (it's no 1:1 substitute to sugar, I just adapt the recipes), add it to smoothie bowls or protein fluffs, gelatin, microwave mug muffins and so on. I like my coffee black and I don't sweeten my teas, but I would say it requires a good stir to dissolve in liquids.
