Brett says:
He is planning to climb Mt. Rainier in June and is wondering if supplements like “Altitude Adapt” that contain Nitric Oxide would be any benefit at all for high altitude climbing?

Valerie says:
She is wondering about diatomaceous earth. Is it effective for removing parasites? Is it safe and effective? How does it compare to other removal methods?

Thanks for the awesome info as always. I was checking out world-pharmacy.org and they wanted a money order. No option for CC orders. Gives me a little concern. Any thoughts?

    Fellow Spokanite!

    1. I ordered via cc. You may want to check again…

  2. Oddwell / Jim Newell says:

Sweet. Glad I'm on track to recover for 2014.

    Ben and Brock,
Have ya'll heard of this social activism group? http://www.b-society.org/b-tv
Your talk about sleep reminded me of their mission. Good stuff in a factory-model world.
Also, with recovery after a long season, how much is too much? I've been talking 2-3 days off each week, but I'm doing strength training and massage therapy two days a week at PT; riding my bike each morning for 15-20 minutes to loosen up (following it with some stretching and yoga); a mild to moderate 30-minute swim at least once a week; and hitting the mountain bike trials with my crew once to twice a week for about 90 minutes or less – we mainly ride aerobically, but of course, we hit the gas a few times each ride.
    Thanks,
Jim (who, after more than two months off training is finally starting to feel human again)

    1. I haven't heard of that group. I'll check it out. In the meantime, one day per week totally "off" or active recovery is typically enough…
