He is thinking about a number of 8 to 24 hour adventure races this summer and is wondering if it is possible to maintain a fat burning base during that long of a race or if he would have to bump it up to a more standard carbohydrate base.

Is Xylitol Healthy?

Randy says: You recently talked about how mouthwash can kill gut bacteria. It got him thinking about Xylitol and how it is used to kill bacteria in your mouth (which is why it is effective in gum). Could this highly touted sweetener of the biohacking community be killing our gut flora? What are your thoughts on Xylitol? He has been using it in his morning coffee for quite a while now.

    Ben, how often do you recommend taking Test/Est stack on a daily basis? Will once in the AM do the trick or should I be adding extra on training days?

    1. It depends on the stack but generally five days on two days off is a decent weekly cycle with a morning dosage.

        Thanks–I’m doing the Test Booster and Estrogen Control. Suggested above. I’ve been taking 5 days a week but only one serving of each in the AM and wondering if I need to take an additional serving in the afternoon for optimal results? I’m 165lbs

    Ben, been following and enjoying your podcasts for a while now. First comment:
    in regards to TM, there is a TM of shoot called " Ishaya/Ascension". I was taught it in 2000.
    See if there are teachers in your area. Basic class is called First Sphere.
    It is the easiest to master/learn quickly and most powerful things I've come across.
    Mantra repetition based like TM.

    I don’t know of a TM App but I use the Sleepstream binaural beat app. If u buy the premium version you get loads of different beats for Sleep, meditation, energy, focus, etc etc. you also get white & pink noise overlays plus loads of others like rain, drones, wind chimes. I often use it for lunchtime power naps and also at night if I have difficuly sleeping. Never tried the energy, focus or meditation beats but can defo recommend the sleep ones.

    Have you tested before and after T levels when using the Aggressive Strength? A bio-hack to see if it does work. I don’t want to buy another supplement with out it being beneficial and proven.
