    Hi Ben!

I’m looking for the study you cited about EAAs enhancing absorption of protein if taken simultaneously. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? Always appreciate you!

    Hi Ben

This was so much fun to listen to, super informative, you both were great. I thank you.

You mentioned on episode that one of his herbs makes you glittery.

I cannot have caffeine at all, no chocolate, not a coffee person but chocolate is darn good.

My heart races, can’t stop talking, trouble sleeping.

How can I work on this? Is there something I can do to alleviate issue?

    1. SlyNate says:

I suggest slowly ramping up your magnesium and see if that helps. Once you are replete, the central nervous system sensitivity should settle down.

YESSSS! Ben + Brendon combo might be one of my favs! (Attended my first HPX Live this Feb in San Diego) and have been a huge follower/supporter of BGF for ages so this is an AWESOME collaboration – thanks, guys!
    Resources I have been tapping:
    Boundless (naturally)
The Courage to Be Happy – Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga (TONS of applicable parallels to covid)
Just started LIMITLESS – Jim Kwik because why learn slowly when you can learn fast
and I second B.B. recommendation for the Tao of Pooh and actually also would stack the Te of Piglet – Benjamin Hoff
and “the little prince” is applicable always

    THANKS, GUYS

Would love if you interviewed her.

  11. Jim says:

Ben, I have been providing Cyrex food allergy panel for some of my patients. In going over results with their doctor, they mentioned that the beta glucans break down in such a way that it can confuse the inflammatory response. This can result in other foods being an irritant. On my own panel they suggested that my poly/cross reactivity was probably due to my high shroom intake. I thought there might be an outside chance this could help with your own gut issues.

  12. Margaret C says:

Did I miss where Brandon discussed getting rid of allergies fast? What minute is that please?

  13. Hunter Ryan says:

    Howdy,

An observation from this podcast. When Ben and Brendon were talking about books, thought leaders, and other resources that they look to when doing their own personal development and reflection, all of the names were male

Obviously, two very successful and accomplished individuals. This was just an observation of the names that were mentioned in regards to the constellation of individuals that they surround themselves with. Of course, I would be interested in hearing what Ben and Brendon make of this, if they noticed this point, or if this is by intention.

Thank you both for making the time to put out this information.

  14. Anthony Guastella says:

Hey Ben, I heard you talk about how EAAs increase absorption for other proteins. Does collagen have the same effect when taking it with other proteins?

  15. C says:

Pretty good talk overall, however – 2 glaring disconnects – buying into the idea that anyone has the right to not allow healthy people to stay healthy by keeping them indoors and even more insanely stating that a toxin laden cocktail injected into your body is O.K. if you are healthy is exactly what permits the downfall of public health that is being experienced globally. Just say no!

  16. Hello,
Loved the episode. Will keep the med rx in mind. Did not like brendon before your show found him unbalanced but now I see that he has a specific routine. I will have to go back and re-read his books.

  17. S says:

Thanks Ben for another top quality & fun interview. Love the fact that you include poo in most of your episodes :) and that you are not afraid to say things that others wouldn’t eg advantageous tax rate in Puerto Rico. Brendan’s journey is inspiring, lots of great advice and recommendations. However I often hear stories of people who had a life changing moment and went on to radically rethink their lives. How can it be so linear? I would like to hear how your guests, or you for that matter, manage your own doubts, weariness or lack of motivation on a daily basis (if you have any, of course). Lately I have found that I am exhausted from trying (currently doing a thesis and badly managing health problems) and I haven’t been ‘bringing excellence’ into my academic work. Lately, I started listening again to podcast like yours and to read a small section of one of your books or similar, plus re-introduce breathing and light training in the morning etc, but I can’t seem to fight off that mental fatigue. Sure, the current pandemic added fear to the mix, but would lie to myself if I blamed my current mindset on the situation. Ben, you do SO much, and very well – how do you keep on track? And how do your guests stay motivated? Your insights would be great! Blessings, S. PS. I miss your podcasts with Brock + you always sound smart and sexy (ref to your ad!)

    1. Nick says:

      Hey S,

I think it is the opposite: non-linear.

Once you find and start pursuing your purpose/passion the doubt and lack of motivation lift.

      1. S says:

Thanks for the reply, Nick. With linear, I meant that people overcome their hurdle once and find their calling afterwards – as opposed to having ups and downs and trying various things until they eventually find their purpose. Not sure I am clearly expressing what I mean to say – probably not! Have you found your purpose/passion? Given all my doubts, maybe I haven’t found mine even though I thought I had? So many questions…
