    Ok I’m really not trying to be condescending, honestly, but you strike me as the sort of guy who’s never had a weight problem, and as you’ve said before your wife is a naturally thin woman…so how can you really help me? I need help to lose weight. I have always had a horrible “metabolism”. Everyone who knows me, says that I have been dealt a crappy deck. It seems that I eat less than those around me and I exercise more, still I have gotten fatter and fatter over the years. I even gained 5lbs training for a marathon. I’ve always been into exercise (was in the army/combat trade in my youth, got into running, always went to the gym etc) I currently subscribe to the wholefood eating (Dr.Alan Christianson, Yuri, Wellness Mama etc) but have only gained even more weight. I have a job where I do keep off my butt as much as possible, but do sit for a good 4-6 hours a day. I’ve counted calories and had my blood work done. Doctors have told me that they would get to the bottom of this, but after doing my blood work they just tell me, I must be in denial and that they can’t help me until I’m ready to help myself. If I go hard core with exercise (run 6-7 times a week and spend hours in the gym) and starve myself after a good month or two I might have lost a true 2-3 pounds (not water weight). weight does come off, eventually but its impossible to keep it up or off. I am currently fat. 5’2″ and I weigh 210 lbs. Before I explode I’d love to see what the hell I’m doing wrong. I’ve seen nutritionists but they are big into cereal with juice for breakfast & calories in vs out thinking, I’ve done weightwatchers, low carb, ketosis (felt like crap), atkins, veganism etc. I feel really good now, eating real food, but I’m doing something wrong because I keep on gaining weight. I have given up running (too fat and worried that I might hurt myself), I do a “fighter fight” Mixed Martial Arts class 1-3 times a week (hell of a workout), and I do 30-60 mins of yoga each morning (yoga studio app) fasted, I usually go for 12-14 hours from my last meal before I eat, but I do have a morning coffee with 1-2 oz 10-18% cream and stevia, with collagen added after about 10-12 hours. First meal is usually a pea protein shake (NOW pea protein) I’ve been doing “don’t waste the crumbs” meal planning…cooking all my meals from scratch for the past 2 months. I keep telling myself that it doesn’t matter what I weigh because I feel great, but I’m a happily married 39 year old mom of 4 kids, I keep gaining weight, I’m getting hair on my face (blood work done – all normal) and I’m worried that eventually I’ll be too big to get out of bed!
