When it comes to essential oils, my guest on this podcast is a true wizard. Dr. Nick Berry first joined me on the episode “Psychoactive Sleep Edibles, Essential Oil Wizardry, Cosmic Orgasms & More With Dr. Nick Berry.” Recently, I mentioned his amazing Kakanga root extract for energy, several of his unique dream sequence oils, along with some extremely unique oils you've probably never heard of in my weekly roundup.

Today, Dr. Nick is back for a fascinating podcast recorded at my home in Spokane, WA, and he arrived armed with an arsenal of intriguing and never-before-seen essential oils we'll explore on today's show.

Dr. Nick is a licensed pharmacist and compassionate human being who stays on the cutting edge of holistic wellness and botanical medicine. He founded Essential Oil Wizardry in 2014, a humble-sized essential oil company that specializes in organic and wildcrafted essential oils, CO₂ extracts, and floral absolutes. They carry over 240 essential oil products, such as Wizard Alchemy Blends, Ceremonial Blends, Divine-Align Chakra Sets, Exquisite Botanical Perfumes, Kava Products, Magick Misters, as well as Therapeutic Formulas.

Dr. Nick & his team of “Wizards” also offer services such as product formulation for aligning brands and customized botanical perfumes and therapeutic formulas for individuals. Professionally, Dr. Nick hosts Essential Oil Wizardry playshops around the globe, invites rapid empowered evolution at his Transformational Botanical Retreats, and loves alchemizing in the lab and learning how to make more effective and potent lifestyle solutions. I loved the episode, recorded in a relaxed setting at the kitchen of Ben’s home. After listening to the previous podcast with Dr. Nick I bought several essential oil blends from EOW, but unfortunately the post office of my country lost the parcel. Dr. Nick and his team were so kind and quickly resolved the issue, and I really enjoyed the personal email correspondences with Dr. Nick. When I finally got the oils, they were much more than just blends of essential oils but reflections of Dr. Nick’s unique spirit. The interview captures Dr. Nick’s kind and gracious presence.

  2. Steve says:

Man, that was one strange podcast. It felt like Ben and Dr. Nick were cuddling together. The moaning by Ben was embarrassing.

And all the “Mother Earth” stuff. Too much.

Yes Ben, Mother Earth is correcting all of our bad behavior with Covid-19, a virus that has a 99% survivability rate. Personally I’m going to continue to drive my big ass truck because if Mother Earth was really pissed off she’d do more than knock a few of the elderly and the chronically ill. For contrast,1918 killed young people by the millions. Must have been those Model T’s Mother earth didn’t like.

And to mention recycling, a totally debunked “Earth Friendly” activity. Even PBS has given up on recycling. They did an hour show on plastic waste where one of the leaders of the green movement admitted that pushing recycling probably wasn’t such a great idea. Your plastic fruit containers are ending up in the Pacific Ocean by way of China.

Hi Dr. Nick, do you have a recommendation for someone with eczema or a skin condition? Thanks.

  4. Mandy says:

Which oil was recommended for ADHD? The mention of “slowing down an overactive mind” above is hyperlinked to circulatory flow not tulsi. But also not sure tulsi is it so wanted to confirm. Thank you.

  5. Lisa says:

This podcast was pretty superficial, not the Ben Greenfield norm. I love and use essential oils. I would have loved to hear you discuss more about the science of the constituents found in essential oils that make them effective for different purposes. There are so many published papers. And how the different methods of applying essential oils enter the body systems vs swallowing a supplement. This kind of felt like an infomercial for this guys company.

I totally agree with you Ben that I could stop working and just spend three days working with essential oils.

    1. Dr. Nick says:

      Hiya Lisa!

Thanks for sharing your interest, I hope you did enjoy the experience even though you would have preferred more technical details. Ben and I had intended to share a wide-array / general overview about essential oils and provide an aromatic experience using video. This was our best effort to inspire people using technology to replicate our in-person Botanical Experiences or “EOW Playshops”, while providing a broad-angle perspective for essential oil usage.

Appreciate your honest feedback Lisa :-)

  6. B says:

Dr Nick the blends that were pointed out in this podcast are oils infused into fractionated coconut oil. I didn’t see on your site what is the dilution or percentage of essential oil. Can you please let me know?

    1. Dr. Nick says:

      Greetings B,

      Great question :-)

We do prefer having potent products, a majority of our infused blends are 40-65%
Essential Oils infused into carrier <3

      Thanks a bunch!

  7. Chad Cooper says:

Dr. Nick Berry reminds of Terence Mckenna. Anybody else?

    1. Dr. Nick says:

I’ve heard this many times in my lifetime Chad. Thank you, I receive this as an honouring statement!

  8. Dr. Nick says:

Hope you all feel inspired by our time together ~ Ben and I sure had a blast!
May you breathe in deeply, opening your lungs and hearts, to the subtle and profound messages from the plants.
Wishing everyone a state of deep stillness, joy, faith and resilience during these times <3

Do let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for joining us on this botanical journey!

    In Loving Kindness,
