My superstar personal assistant Ashley just left shards of a protein bar she created out on the kitchen counter for me to try and I am in love with it. Here's the full recipe should you care to try for yourself… * * Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Place raw or soaked and dehydrated nuts (recommended) on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Stir nuts and continue baking an additional 10 minutes or until done to your liking. While nuts are baking, mix protein powders and gelatin with water to form a thick paste, a bit thinner of a consistency than almond butter. Place the remaining ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender. When nuts are cooled, place all ingredients in food processor and mix until desired consistency. They will be very thick. Press into 8x8in or loaf pan and place in fridge to cool. Cut into bars. * * 1 cup macadamia nuts 1/2 cup pecans 1/2 cup hazelnuts 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes 1/4 cup flax seeds 1/4 cup chia seeds 1/2 cup nut butter 1 scoop Onnit Whey Chocolate (https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/barwhey) 3 scoops Onnit hemp force cocoa and maca (https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/hempmaca) 1/4 cup grass fed gelatin 1 or 2 tsp cinnamon 1 or 2 tsp sea salt * * Here's the nutrition info if you make 8 servings, but I'd probably do more like 12 servings (if you don't want this to be like a meal replacement bar.) 64% fat 17% carb 19% protein * * #food #foodporn #instafood #yum #yummy #getinmybelly #yumyum #delicious #eat #lunch #love #sharefood #homemade #stuffed #beautiful #eating #foodpics #foodgasm
