“Upon stepping into a dark shed in the middle of the forest, twin brothers River and Terran are transported to a remote prisoner island in the magical world of Arbore – a world crawling with strong magic, hidden snares, and rogue creatures. Using their powers to control the elements of water and earth, the boys must escape the mysterious island inhabitants and discover their way to the mainland, only to encounter an entire country sieged by evil shramana and vile serpents.
Can two human boys save this otherworld? Can the seafarers, elves, warrior princesses, healers and magisters they meet along the way help them in the battle? Will the chaotic struggles they encounter follow them back into their own world? Find out in this riveting adventure that includes harsh wilderness, epic battles, tangled romances, elemental sciences, spiritual encounters and hardcore survival.”
OK…deep breath. Here we go. It's time for me to venture into “new territory.” And no, this new territory doesn't involve biohacks, supplements, masochistic workouts, or fringe enemas.
Instead, my brand new and first work of fiction – The Forest – is officially ready for order, as a beautiful, hardcover 372-page work written to thrill and delight young readers and adults alike! (*ahem*, may I add…just in time Holiday gift orders).
Part of me is excited to write this quick post to you, and the other part feels vulnerable and exposed as I officially introduce my passion for writing and very first work of fiction to the world.
I’m grateful to all my readers and to everyone who influenced and helped me get to this moment. In truth, I've actually derived a great deal of inspiration for this book from the questions I've gotten from people like YOU about life, health, fitness, spirituality, and natural living; and because of that, I've woven concepts such as survival, body science, parenting, breathwork, the elements of earth, air, water and fire, and much more into the story. I wrote this book—the first of a planned series of fantasy fiction books—with the hope that, just like C.S. Lewis's “Chronicles of Narnia” or J.R.R. Tolkien's “Lord Of The Rings,” I will be able to enchant and inspire the world's children and adults alike with a magical tale of a hero's journey.
After all, it's nice sometimes to take a break from social media, magazines, self-improvement, and health books—and to instead get lost in a fantasy world. (In fact, because of this, reading fiction is actually quite good for the brain and the imagination.)
But releasing a book to the world takes a village, so I’m turning to YOU for your help in spreading the word about The Forest, which is the just the first title of a 5-part fantasy fiction series I’m currently writing. Here are two quick ways you can help:
1. Get The Forest!
This is the single most important way to help. Just imagine your friends, family, children or you yourself opening this thrilling title as a unique gift this Holiday season. I’m going to be gifting The Forest to plenty of my loved ones and would encourage you to do the same! Here’s how to get it:
Order the stunning hardcover edition with character portraits directly from my store here. This is the best way to support me!
2. Share The Forest With Your Community
We all live in networks of connection and my guess is, there is someone in your community who would enjoy this book right now. After all, I wrote The Forest to be palatable for children and young adults all the way up to anybody else who desires a “Game-Of-Thrones-esque” experience without the extreme violence or nudity. So do me a quick favor and mention this new release on your social media channels, or simply organically in passing to your friends, neighbors, and community.
It's as simple as sharing this link with your friends, family, or anyone else you know who is into fiction or who you think would enjoy my new book. When you share, feel free to tag #TheForestBook #WorldLeapers, along with @BenGreenfieldBooks on Instagram and @BenG_Greenfield on Twitter.
So that's it!
I truly appreciate any way you can help, especially by clicking here to grab The Forest today. Like I mentioned, I'm a bit scared and a bit nervous about venturing into the world of fiction but I truly believe that with your help, I can turn the dream of enchanting the world's imaginations into a reality.
P.S. It warms my heart that adults and children around the world can now lay in bed, gather around the fire, lounge on the couch, sit on the beach and read my new book, and with your help, your orders, and your sharing, the positive message and Hero’s Journey I’ve woven into The Forest will touch the hearts of as many folks as possible. Thanks for reading, and leave any questions, comments or feedback below!
