Not sure if this is the right location to ask a question for the podcast. Anyways, Any new advice for reversing hair loss or slowing the process down? I have listened to your poscast on hairloss and have tried all your recommendations – iodine, vitamin D, eliminating grains/sugar, reducing stress. My blood work came back with optimal levels of hormones, vitamins, etc. I have a difficult time accepting “genetics” as the root cause. The real question is “what is igniting the issue?”

    1. The best way to ask a question for the podcast is to go to http://www.speakpipe.com/bengreenfield and ask it via audio.

        Hey Ben

I tried to use speak pipe but I couldn't hear my "replay" so I didn't send (without a sound check). So, I hope you receive this well. My name is Andrew Sansaver and I am writing because I have 5 year old son who has had a diagnosis of Autism since the age of 2. We have been with an integrative medicine practitioner for 3 years now and have made some good strides but we feel that there is still something more we can do. Lucas is up to approximately 40 supplements and we are starting to feel like this is not only financially unsustainable but also doesn't feel natural, and it has been taking a tremendous toll on our family over the past three years. I have been wondering if you would have a recommendation? The practitioner we see specializes in Methylation as well as Mitochondrial dysfunction. We have done multiple OAT tests,Genova stool samples, and other testing as well as the supplements twice a day for past three years. We have been on two separate gut protocols because the overgrown occurred a second time. I cannot help but be concerned about doing the right thing, and giving Lucas the best chance possible. We have spent thousands (and we are not rich) on him and will spend more if we have to but I want to make sure I am giving him the best chance. We have a 7 year old and a 1 year old daughter as well and this is all taking a toll on them. Please let me know if you feel that we are in the right place. We live in Northern California about an hour east of San Francisco. I listen to Kresser and Dr. Rucio, Aspery and Mutzel. I really appreciate your passion and played college athletics so I admire your competitive sense of life as well as your curiosity for making yourself and those around you better. Any help you could offer would be amazing.

        Thank you

        1. This would be an excellent question for the podcast. Can you please try again? Speakpipe.com/bengreenfield. Try and keep the question under 45 seconds and don't worry about the 'replay' or sound check, we can edit!

Hi Ben- a quick question. I just listened to the audio with Samal (?) And I am impressed with his training regimen. Ten to 12 hours a week is great. I did a full I’M in 2011 and got burned out with the traditional training. I am doing a half in 2015. Before i buy beyond training-does it go oVer minimalist training plans or how to create them? I want to have fun on the 70.3 and not take away from the family with training.

    1. Hell yes. A TON of minimalist training advice is in the book. Lots of sample stuff over at http://www.beyondtrainingbook.com. http://www.triathlondominator.com is also a good plan.
